Project Overview

SMOOT LIFE TOWER is a high-rise building located in a prime business district of Bangkok. The project involved converting the car park area into a Data Center — a facility requiring a robust structure capable of withstanding high compressive loads and supporting heavy IT equipment.

The project specified SMARTFIBER-SHEET UT70-30, a high-quality unidirectional carbon fibre sheet, to increase the load-carrying capacity of the slabs and beams, fully meeting Data Center structural standards.

Installation Process

    Concrete Surface Preparation

    Clean the concrete surface thoroughly — removing dust, grease, and moisture — to ensure maximum epoxy adhesion.

    SMARTFIBER-SHEET UT70-30 Installation

    Bond SMARTFIBER-SHEET UT70-30 using specialist epoxy adhesive at engineer-specified positions and orientations to resist bending and shear forces in the slabs and beams.

  3. 3

    NDT Strength Verification

    Conduct Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to confirm bond strength and material integrity before project handover.
