What is FRP Lining?
And How Does It Work?

FRP Lining is a tank and surface coating service using Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic combined with specialist resins to create a high-strength protective layer. It outperforms conventional coating materials in resistance to aggressive chemicals, heat, and corrosion — making it the choice for industries demanding the highest durability.

FRP Lining uses industrial-grade fiberglass and resin to deliver strength and long-term resistance to chemicals, heat, and corrosion. Suited to chemical storage tanks, wastewater treatment systems, and heavy industrial tanks.

Capabilities of FRP Lining

Industrial-grade fiberglass reinforced material — high strength, resistant to aggressive chemicals and heat, with a long service life and adaptable to all tank and surface types in heavy industry.

Industrial-Grade Fiberglass Material
Uses quality-certified industrial-grade fiberglass and resin, delivering greater strength and durability than conventional coating materials — suited to the most demanding industrial environments.
High Strength, Low Weight
FRP delivers an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio with excellent resistance to pressure and abrasion — ideal for large tanks and structures requiring both structural integrity and light weight.
Resistant to Aggressive Chemicals & Acids
Withstands highly aggressive chemicals, concentrated acids, alkalis, and solvents — suitable for industrial chemical tanks where conventional coatings cannot cope.
Heat & High Temperature Resistance
Retains its mechanical properties at elevated temperatures and withstands rapid thermal cycling — ideal for tanks used in high-heat processes or hot-cold alternating conditions.
Long Service Life & Easy Maintenance
FRP Lining has a service life exceeding 30 years, reducing long-term maintenance costs. If localised damage occurs, spot repairs can be carried out without replacing the entire lining.
Specialist Installation Team
Our engineers and technicians specialise in FRP lining for industrial tanks, with dedicated training — guaranteeing installation quality and long-term performance.

The FRP Lining Process

A systematic approach by specialist engineers — from system design and surface preparation, through FRP reinforcement and application, to testing and guaranteed handover.

1
Inspection & System Design
Assessment of tank and surface condition, analysis of chemical types and operating conditions. The FRP system is designed with the appropriate resin and fiberglass selected for the actual service environment.
2
Surface Preparation & Primer Application
Thorough surface cleaning and sandblasting to achieve the required profile. Primer is applied to maximise FRP adhesion and prevent under-film corrosion.
3
FRP Reinforcement & Lining
Fiberglass layers and resin coats are alternated in the designed number of plies. Thickness and adhesion are controlled at each layer to achieve the required strength and durability standard.
4
Testing & Handover
Strength, chemical resistance, and FRP lining integrity are tested. A quality report is issued and the project handed over with a long-term warranty.
FRP Lining Application

Which Industries Is It Suited For?

FRP Lining is suited to tanks and surfaces in industries requiring the highest levels of resistance to chemicals, heat, and corrosion — particularly heavy industry and wastewater treatment applications.

01
Chemical & Acid/Alkali Storage Tanks — lining of highly corrosive chemical tanks, resistant to concentrated acids, alkalis, and solvents. Significantly extends tank service life and reduces leakage risk.
02
Wastewater & Effluent Treatment Systems — lining of tanks and structures in wastewater treatment plants, resistant to acidic environments and corrosive gases, protecting concrete and steel tanks from long-term deterioration.
03
Heavy Industrial & Petrochemical Tanks — lining of tanks and equipment in heavy industry, petrochemical, and refinery plants. Resistant to chemicals and high temperatures, maintaining tank integrity under harsh operating conditions.
04
Silos & Raw Material Vessels — lining of industrial silos and raw material storage tanks, resistant to abrasion from solid materials, preventing corrosion and contamination to preserve raw material quality over the long term.
05
Pipes & Outdoor Equipment — lining of pipes, valves, and externally installed equipment. Resistant to UV radiation, weathering, and corrosion — extending the service life of structures exposed to harsh outdoor environments.
