True Digital Park within the Whizdom 101 development is Thailand's leading hub for technology and digital innovation. Plans were made to convert interior space into an Amphitheater Seating conference area, which would impose higher loads than the original slab structure was designed for.
To safely support the new usage loads, engineers carried out strengthening of the concrete top slabs using the high-quality CFRP material SMARTFIBER-STRIP TL512.
Analyze the slab load capacity and design reinforcement positions to suit the new loads from the Amphitheater Seating installation.
Prepare the concrete surface to be clean and installation-ready by removing contaminants, weak materials, and cracks that could affect bonding.
Install SMARTFIBER-STRIP TL512 on the underside of the slab, in the direction and positions designed by engineers to resist the increased bending forces.
Conduct Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to verify bonding and the integrity of reinforcement materials throughout the project area.
